Holika Holika Petite Aqua Jelly

This is unlike most common BB creams, like it’s name, it has a jelly type consistency and water based. I really like the Holika Holika brand and this is one of their star product, let jump too the review!

Missha Perfect Concealer

I’ve mentioned about a couple of products from the Missha The Style Collection, and here’s another one from the line. The perfect concealer comes in 2 colors, and I bought the darker one in natural beige, as you can see from the pot it suits most fair asian skin tone, and best of all, it is very affordable (I bought this for about $4.50 on gmarket. ), but let’s see how it fairs in terms of quality.

Swanston Hual

If you are wondering why on earth are cosmetics and toiletries so damn expensive there’s is a actually a place in Singapore that actually bypasses the markup prices you seen in Watsons or Guardian.  Last friday, I passed Chinatown from work and decided to pay Swanston a visit. It’s a essential store where you can get really cheap  cosmetics and toiletries. You can never go wrong with the prices.

Here’s the address:

32 New Market Road Singapore 050032 (People’s Park Food Centre #02-1004/7, beside OG Building) There’s also a bridge connecting OG to the building level 2 which you will see Swanston.

By Car – Park at the Multi-Storey Carpark behind People’s Park FC (Turn left into Park Crescent, then turn right into the carpark entrance)

If you are wondering what I’ve gotten from my trip, here’s it! (along with a price comparison for some items)

SKII “Magical Water”

With direct translation from chinese, SKII 神奇水.

I’ve always been very skeptical about this brand. There’s so much marketing involved, many celebrities endorsement and this is truly an expensive product in my opinion; I remember this very time when my sister came home all excited over her hundreds buck purchase, apply it and visited the doctor the next day because it gave her rashes. Apparently, in 2006 there was news that SKII products contain substances which causes allergic reactions. So, why SKII?
